(this confused me for a while, thinking long handled one could handle near stuff too.) Long-armed inserters pull and place 2 tiles away, and can't touch a belt only 1 tile away. Inserters prefer to pull from the far lane. Explicitly say north and west when you're using absolute directions, not up and left. One confusing bit is how the center placements favoring left is a relative left, but you used it differently earlier. I'm using the creation of them to fuel my playtime and to learn a little bit about the game at the same time. I'm planning on doing a series of them about belt throughput and moving into smelting/manufacturing. I will make sure to keep good masters instead of 14fps) around of any more that I create. I might acquire the Adobe suite to see if I can't edit future ones down better. The tool that I used to record them was LICEcap which is free and quite easy to use. The loops are done by eye with the same terrible online suite and I wasn't able to edit out the lighting changes that come from the cloud cover ala a cinemagraph. Unfortunately, I don't have the masters so I will have to rerecord the GIFs though I was thinking about doing that anyways once I figure out a tool that will allow me to edit GIFs effectively that doesn't cost an arm and a leg! The frame-rate and timing on these guys is not actually in line with the game, which was a side effect of editing them with a terrible online suite that forced me to use a 10ms frame delay on a less than 8MB file, which limited me to about 14fps capture. ![]() Ssilk wrote:Now remove this text descriptions in the pic and it is useable for the wiki.
